Charley Ayers, Kadence Jorgensen, and Tazyn Sessions head to class with a hallfull of others. Naturally, there are things students like and dislike about their classes. "It's pretty sick to go to class with friends. I wouldn't change a thing," said Ayers.

The poultry team studies before their competition. Their efforts helped them beat 16 school teams at the competition. FFA president Sammantha Bramwell said, "Members put the work into their CDEs( career development events) outside of school by studying, practicing, and putting their knowledge to work."

After giving eight amazing shows in three days, the SVHS Musical cast gives their final bow. "I am so proud of these kids and the work they have put in to make this show successful. Though it has been time consuming, I am so grateful that I can help do it," said director Tami Nielsen.
Cast Wows Audience with Hello Dolly
The students on the speech and debate team stand together for one last photo before the end of the state tournament. The tournament went from Friday to Saturday, March 13-15. They got home Sunday very early in the morning. Sophomore Ian Coles said, "The tournament just felt like a normal one but just longer which was strange."
Speech Wraps up Season in Cheyenne at State Tournament
Some of the cheerleaders settle in for the long bus ride to Casper for state basketball. A few months earlier, they had also traveled a similar distance to state football in Laramie. Senior Kynzee Hurd shared, "Bus rides with my teammates are always a blast. I'm so grateful I got one last memorable bus ride with the girls who have become my family."

Members of the team eat lunch at the school in Riverton. Tournaments take a long time and students usually have to eat at the school where they are competing. Senior Kennadee Wheeler said, "Depending on the tournament, either the school or parents will feed us, but most of the time we just bring snacks."

Frozen in Time: Looking Back at the Winter of 24-25
The FFA officers stand together in the order in the order of their positions. 2nd-Vice President Lizzy Petersen said, "Some of my favorite things about FFA are the animals we work with (my favorite is definitely the chickens), the constant and never-ending lessons to learn about both agriculture and everyday life, and the enormous family that FFA has throughout the entire nation." Lizzy has been doing FFA for 3 years and is very passionate about her role in it.

While SVHS may have a low College Readiness Index score, one thing it has excelled at is getting 92% seniors to graduation while Sheridan graduates 85% of their seniors.

The girls and boys of Speech & Debate take a group photo in the cold weather outside of Star Valley High School. The team ended up editing a picture of the speech & debate "ancestors" that comes from their iconic theme "Lets talk it to death." Sophomore Bailey Sperry said, "I am so happy I beat my biggest competition at our recent tournament!"

The attendance policy is a topic that most students in the school have a pretty strong opinion about. The attendance policy says that student who miss more than 6 days in a class will have to do credit recovery to make up the time they missed in the class, Greyson Wolfley had this to say about credit recovery "I have lost three of my Fridays because I have to go to the remediation friday school to make up hours on my own time to get the credits back."

Teenagers are known to be on their phones often, but do other generations understand why? "I do think that some people are addicted, but I think a lot of kids see it as a escape from reality. Just being on my phone for a few minutes after a stressful day helps me relax," explains Gabe Henrie. Most adults view teenagers as phone addicts, but in reality they are just trying to relieve some of the stress that builds up.
