FAIRYTALE: While visiting Europe over spring break with the school group, senior Chelsea Hoopes stops to take a picture of the Mont St. Michel Castle in Normandy, France. Hoopes loved visiting France during the trip, and it was a very cool experience for her. The Mont St. Michel Castle in Normandy, France was sort of a place out of a fairytale, and it was so cool to walk around the castle and go to the souvenir shops and food shops! Hoopes said.

Student Spring Break Here We Come!
Sadie Hulse and Lucy Strasburg capture the fun nature of stagecraft class between set crafting. These two girls loved to help build sets for the play guys and Dolls with friends and the amazing Mr. Balls. It was such a fun class, and I loved being able to see our visions work out and just to be with my friends, said Strasburg.

Arie Kilroy goes to find the sun in Orlando, Florida. She spent her vacation going to the beach and Disney World. It was really nice to get out of the snow and into warmer weather, said Kilroy.
SVHS Holiday Happenings
WORD SMITHS: Junior Emma Wolfley, sophomores Taggart Ivie, Lily Keith, and Jaden Edwards, and freshmen Symi Hepworth hang out in the library before school starts. Lily and Jaden recently won second place in the district young authors writing contest while Symi, Emma, and Taggart won first place and are awaiting the results from the state competition. Writing brings me a happiness like no other, said Taggart.

Jaden Robinson, Kailey Merritt, Chacelie Shumway, and Cody Nelson take a 0.5 highlighting their MIB identification cards. The four seniors got fired up during the famous rival game. Not sure why the cops got mad, but if I had to rate that game out of 10, Id rate it lets go braves, said Robinson.

DIAMONDS (above) The Treble Tones preformed with style and diamonds! These girls really had to get into the performances and just let loose. “I love being able to represent our school at events like this with such an amazing group of singers! I just love all these girls,” stated senior Ali Hoopes.

Cam Mackey, Kimball Hulse, Arie Kilroy, Hayden Morgan, Big Country, Sheridan Coles, Smith McClure, Ambrey Nelson, Will Linford, and Riplee Veigel all strike a pose before heading to the dance while the lights of Burger King burned in the background. The best part of the date was during dinner. We decided to go around the table and tell everyone something about us that no one knew, Coles said.

Playing football at the next level has been one of my biggest dreams since I was a kid, so being able to see college facilities in person was really exciting. I cant wait to be able to play football in college, and this visit gave me an awesome insight to a little bit of that dream.

She said, Believing that I am good enough to be my role was honestly the hardest part. Lucy Strasburg, Cooper Lawson, Sophie Lamunyon, Smith McClure, Riley Erickson, and Sam Wood gather as friends to take their Winter Formal pictures in a casual but classy format. “Having close friends in the group definitely made it a really fun night. It was by far one of my favorite dances because I was able to spend time with them and make special memories,” said Erickson. For their day date, Riley and his squad made pizzas blindfolded under the direction of the girls.
