Chelsea Hoopes poses in a grassy, scenic area to capture the perfect senior picture. Hoopes was involved in Brave Cadettes all four years of high school and was honored to be given the position of co-captain her senior year. Hoopes noted, "My favorite memory from high school would be going with the dance team to perform at the Boise field my junior year. The environment was so exciting, and it was so fun cheering on our football boys who ended up winning the game!!"

LUNCH TIME: Students have enjoyed ten extra minutes of lunch in May thanks do their high achievement on spring standardized testing.

WORD SMITHS: Junior Emma Wolfley, sophomores Taggart Ivie, Lily Keith, and Jaden Edwards, and freshmen Symi Hepworth hang out in the library before school starts. Lily and Jaden recently won second place in the district young authors writing contest while Symi, Emma, and Taggart won first place and are awaiting the results from the state competition. "Writing brings me a happiness like no other," said Taggart.

Jaden Robinson, Kailey Merritt, Chacelie Shumway, and Cody Nelson take a 0.5 highlighting their MIB identification cards. The four seniors got fired up during the famous rival game. "Not sure why the cops got mad, but if I had to rate that game out of 10, I'd rate it 'let's go braves'," said Robinson.

LOTS OF ROOM: In the morning the parking lot little resembles the beehive of activity it becomes when school lets out. Each day accidents occur, or nearly occur as students try to get to school or home. "I almost got hit by a girl backing out last week!" said senior Lucy Strasburg.
Consideration for Others Makes Parking Lot Safer
Senior Charlie Sessions determinedly shed hunts this spring and is rewarded with a brown 6 point. He found horns like this with "a lot of time looking through the glass and a lot of miles." When it comes to shed hunting, Sessions does not see a down side. "I don't dislike anything about shed hunting; it's just great to be out and about in the hills."

DETERMINED: Bryson Nield heads into the 2023 Wyoming 3A State Football game. They won the game 27-0 over Cody. "It was a very fun game to play in," said Nield.
Student Athletes Look Ahead on Their Senior Seasons
HANDLES: Jade Waldron competes for his place on the podium in the 1-minute speed dribble. Waldron ended up placing in several events in the competition and was thrilled to participate as an athlete in the Spring 2024 Special Olympics. Peer Bria Jack was happy to be involved in helping Waldron in the competition, noting that it's "so fun working with Jade. He is always so joyful, and he's so dedicated to doing his very best in the Special Olympics."

HOME ON THE RANGE: This picture is of the University of Wyoming's team locker room I took on my tour of their facilities. Playing football at the next level has been one of my biggest dreams since I was a kid, so being able to see college facilities in person was really exciting. I can't wait to be able to play football in college, and this visit gave me an awesome insight to a little bit of that dream.
