This big date group assembles for the first time on Feb 8th before heading to the dance. Some groups like this one did not go on a day date but got together for dinner before the dance. Sophomore Maddie Aullman said, "I thought the dance was fire. Most of our plans were last minutes, but at the end of the day our group was amazing, and we made some good memories!" They at dinner at Jace Burton's house.
Sweethearts Dance Returns, Provides Winter Fun
The Treble Choir showcase their hard work at their Valentine's day show. The girls have been working on this performance since the summer. "I have learned many things from Kari Allred our Choir director, and from the girls. Each of the girls are amazing and are INCREDIBLY talented, and I don't know where we would be without each other's support!" Said Senior Evelyn Mavy.
Treble Tones Put on Annual Valentine’s Day Show
Star Valley fans assemble in their "Met Gala" best in Jackson to show support for the Braves. The theme for the night of "Daddy's Money" was a not-so-subtle dig at the Jackson student body. "It was so fun to support our team as well as being able to use our prom dresses again," said Maya Hyde.

The girls and boys of Speech & Debate take a group photo in the cold weather outside of Star Valley High School. The team ended up editing a picture of the speech & debate "ancestors" that comes from their iconic theme "Lets talk it to death." Sophomore Bailey Sperry said, "I am so happy I beat my biggest competition at our recent tournament!"
Forensics Team Moving Through Busy, Successful Season
Eight sophomore friends watch "Letters to Juliet" on Galentines. They had spent the afternoon eating crepes, playing games and laughing a lot. Host Eden Adams said, "It was so fun to be able to hang out with my friends and not have any pressure to act normal around someone."

St. Valentine marries a young couple. Hi did this in secret knowing the consequences if the emperor found out. St. Valentine originally wrote, "Love, from your Valentine."
Valentine’s Day Explained
The 2024-2025 regular season cheer team positions together in front of barn for their team pictures. These pictures were actually taken on pipes used for farming equipment, and all photos this day were done on a real farm, giving their pictures a more Star Valley feel. Sophomore Cheerleader Joyah Schreiber said, "I really enjoyed these pictures. I loved that they had a more fun look than being super uniform."
Braves Cheer Fastly Approaching End of Season
The pep band joins the cheer team in the "Pump It up Cheer" at a girls basketball team. The band members always try to join in on cheers as long as they're respectful to the coaches and the other team and often perform their own cheers. As freshman Stryker Suter said, "I always enjoy joining in on the cheers at games; they always bring a good vibe to the place."
What Goes on inside SVHS Pep Band?
The Lady Braves press up the Rock Springs Tigers in their first regional game. The Lady Braves took on four different Wyoming High School Basketball teams over the weekend at the 4A West Regional Tournament."It was a good motivating win for the start of the tournament, and it opened our eyes to what we needed to work on," said said #15 senior Kambree Johnson.

One of the 2025 Special Olympic medalist, Jade Waldron poses with family and friends. They also had volunteers there to take photos of the athletes, and Engel and Volkers had a tent with hot chocolate and water that they gave out to athletes and everyone who needed it. Waldron exclaimed, "I love cheering for my friends while they are racing, and I love all the family and friends who are there to support me."

The kid also got to join the team on the bench as well the locker rooms pre-game and at half time. He also snagged Braves Merch like a  Star Valley Braves t- shirt and a mini basket ball signed by each player.

Junior Will Linford dabs up junior Dylan Shumway after a free throw against Evanston. Star Valley looked to get their revenge on Evanston for their prior lost to them in the pre season. Junior Will Linford said, " All week at practice we went over Evanston's style of playing, so we knew their tendencies. We just played ball and we came out with a win."

"No AirPods makes me hate school even more now," said Lancaster. "No phones is understandable, and honestly I don't care about it that much, but the no AirPods rule seems kind of stupid," added England.

Science duo Mr.Hepworth and Mr. Baker dress up as Monks and besties in the science lab. "Having good friends increases endorphins which makes you happy. Thus creating a better quality of life. Friends make you laugh, even when things are hard. They listen to you and let you know that you aren't crazy. They are great sounding boards for your thoughts and give you an honest opinion about things that they aren't a part of. They love you for who you are and their love is reciprocated by you toward them. They are also willing to dress up like a munk for a picture." said Hepworth, Baker added, "Good friends give me someone that I feel I can look to if I need help with something. Good friends also allow me to feel comfortable being who I am."
