SVHS to Present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
These students participated in the 2025–26 State Young Author Program, submitting original short stories, poetry collections, and graphic novels for the district-level competition. Freshman Aniston Schwab earned first place in the ninth-grade short story category and will advance to the state competition. “My favorite part about participating was my love for writing stories. I enjoy using different perspectives, emotions, and cliffhangers that leave people wanting more,” Schwab said.

The students represented Jordan in the Palestinian Affairs Council, collaborating with delegates from across the country to draft resolutions on complex international issues. “Working with delegates from other countries to reach a common goal was super rewarding, even if the sessions were ‘pretend,’” said Barnes-Boch.

Star Valley Competes at Wyoming State Indoor Track Meet
Coach Darbi Stoll teaches a jazz routine on the 2nd day of tryouts. The routine was around 1 minute long and consisted of many skills that are necessary to know for the final tryout day. Stoll was excited to see how skilled and determined the girls were. She said, "There was so much determination and ambition in the room, and it made me even more excited for the upcoming season. It’s always inspiring to see young dancers show up willing to challenge themselves and give their best effort."

After defeating Rock Springs and Natrona, the team advanced to the championship game against Green River and finished the tournament with a second-place regional finish and a trip to the state tournament. "I'm really proud of our team for making it to state," #3 Morgan Mcgee said.
