The Star Valley High School Band performed in a concert on December 16, 2025, at Star Valley High School, showcasing the group’s hard work, dedication, and musical expertise. The event highlighted the skills the band has developed through months of practice and rehearsal.
Band director Kurt Sand said he was very pleased with the performance. “Our concert went very well. We performed our music at a high level of musicality,” Sand said. “I was pleased that the students gave a performance that was a beautiful representation of all of our practice and rehearsal.”
Band members also felt proud of the concert. Brooklyn Buchanan shared that the performance reflected the effort students put in. “I think the concert went well, I’m proud of the performance we gave,” Buchanan said. “I think I personally did really well because I put in the time and the effort to better myself.”
Another band member, Hadlee Brog, said the group’s hard work paid off. “I think the concert went really well; we worked really hard, and it was really awesome,” Brog said. “I felt I personally did really well. I play the trumpet, and I think overall everyone did amazing.”
The concert gave the SVHS Band an opportunity to demonstrate their musical growth and commitment. Overall, the performance served as a strong representation of the band’s dedication and the success of their continued efforts throughout the season.
