The Star Valley High School cheer team delivered spirited sidelines, sharp routines, and unwavering support as the Braves captured the 2025 Class 3A state football title in Laramie. Their presence energized the stadium and highlighted the dedication behind their standout season. Junior cheerleader Joyah Schreiber says, “It was really cool getting to see all those guys win for a 4th time. It was so much fun cheering on the sidelines and getting to see them do what they worked so hard for! They deserved the win.”
The SVHS cheerleaders took the field at War Memorial Stadium on November 9th, 2025, with trademark precision and enthusiasm, rallying the crowd throughout the Braves’ intense matchup against Cody. From pre-kickoff chants to high-energy halftime performances, the squad kept fans engaged and players motivated during every momentum shift.
This appearance capped a season of disciplined practice, summer conditioning, and leadership at UCA camp — where many cheerleaders earned All-American recognition. Their commitment showed as they executed clean sideline stunts, game-day calls, and coordinated crowd involvement at the biggest game of the year.
One of the standout moments came late in the fourth quarter: as Star Valley pushed for the winning score, the cheer team led a booming “Let’s Go Braves!” chant that echoed through the stadium, lifting fans to their feet and fueling the team’s final drive. “
For the cheerleaders, the state game was more than a performance — it was a celebration of teamwork, school pride, and the chance to support the Braves on Wyoming’s biggest high-school stage. “I loved being able to stand on the sideline and feel the energy of the crowd and the football players gave,” senior cheerleader Camrynn Young said. “The game was tense, but it felt good to cheer on the boys and watch them strive to win the game.”
