The Star Valley Braves are now 5-0 for the conference after trouncing Jackson on their home court on Jan 31.
The Braves second conference game against Kelly Walsh came down to a buzzer-beater by junior Dylan Shumway. He hit a three-pointer to give the Braves a 50-49 win over the Trojans. “It was crazy how loud the student section was and the support for us,” said Shumway.
During that first home game stretch, the Braves started a new tradition where the boys and girls teams pick a young fan and give them a chance to sit on the bench with the teams during the game and experience the game from a player’s point of view. “It was so much fun to sit on the bench with the team,” said the lucky fan.
This type of fan experience gives everyone a chance to enjoy the great seasons the Braves and Lady Braves have going.
