In Star Valley, winter break is the time for lots of students to go outside, experience new things, or just spent a week relaxing out of school. From vacationing in the Caribbean to laying in bed, the variety of what kids did over break was huge.
Many students use winter break as time to spend outside doing their favorite winer activities. Lots of kids were happy for the big storms that took place because that meant they had a bunch of fresh snow to play in. Snow meant powder days on the slopes and better snowmobiling.
Some students stayed in for the break and enjoyed their beds. With the stress of school it can be nice to take a week to forget about the world outside and sit in the comfort of your own home. “I never get to sleep in, but over break I slept in every day!” exclaimed junior Livy Kleeman. Staying home can also mean time spent with family. Whether it’s older siblings home from college or the same people you see in your house everyday, family time can almost be guaranteed during the break.
