Despite not having a ski resort, Star Valley has some of the best snow in the country with similar snow base depth to that of some of the most popular resorts in the world. Even places to ski near Star Valley surpass some of the more famous slopes and get a lot more snow than the most popular resorts in the US, excepting Alta. Seems reasonable that skiers and snowboarders would want to come to resorts with better snow, but in this case, that must not be true. It is better for us though, so the people that go to the locals here are definitely not complaining.

More than 218,000 customers were without power across Kentucky, Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina according to PowerOutage.us. Not only was the power down, but in states like Indiana, Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri and Kansas had to close down schools and even after school activities. They were also canceled in Maryland, where Gov. Wes Moore declared a state of emergency and announced that state government offices would even be closed too. Gov.
