The Braves were busy over the January 3-4 weekend. On Friday the Braves JV, frosh, and varsity teams squared up against the team from Utah for their first home games of the season while the Lady Braves played the same team in Orem, UT at their home.
On Saturday the Lady Braves returned home to play Preston while boys traveled to Preston to play the Indians. “The games were definitely a learning experience. All of our games were close and there were many different ways we could have closed them out and come out with a win,” said sophomore JV player CJ Neuenschwander.
The boys lost the varsity game 37 to 47. The girls lost both the Freshman and Varsity games with the Varsity score being 56 to 38, and they won the Jv game.
During the boys varsity game, player Travis Thompson was injured. He hurt his ankle, towards the end of the game, and wasn’t able to play for the rest of the game.
