Christmas gifts last month ranged anywhere from something small like a pair of socks to exotic family vacations.
Sometimes kids were the lucky recipients of gifts even more expensive than a trip though, like Tessa and Taliya Bagley who both got new iPhones for Christmas. Other people got meaningful gifts like Brooke Suter who got a journal edition of scripture for Christmas.
Presley Frome got right out of Star Valley over her break with her family and all the way to the Bahamas, while Krew Morgan enjoyed Puerto Rico with his family. He said, “My favorite part was visiting Fort El Morro.”
Hudson Hyde opened a new acoustic guitar from the beneath the Christmas tree. He likes to play various songs on it such as “Good Riddance” by Green Day. Hudson said, “I really enjoy learning new songs.”
Some of the greatest gifts students enjoyed were the smallest. Lincoln Liddiard said, “My favorite gifts were the things in my stocking.”
Christmas gifts came in all different sizes and different prices last Christmas, but no matter what, the meaning behind each gift probably meant more than the cost.
