As winter is here at Star Valley, students are often coming to school even later than normal, and many feel their first hour tardies should be excused.
Since it is important to be responsible and get to school on time, many students rush to school in a hurry, but winter weather conditions can make it unsafe as hustling students slide on ice and get in a crashes.
Avoiding crashes requires slow and patient driving on the road, which why many believe tardies should be excused in the mornings and after lunch.
