On Wednesday, November 27 students took part in a long-standing tradition called Braves in Action, a student service day for students willing to participate in helping out the community
This year groups and teams spearheaded set services while other students could sign up for whatever they wanted to participate in.
Attendance was not mandatory on this day with the school working on the honors system; however, treacherous weather and slick roads may have affected attendance while some students still decided to come out and help, showing just how much the students, staff, and volunteers care for our community and come together to work with each other for the betterment of others.
Band members join Osmond Elementary students in a blended concert. The band helped in all sorts of aspects from playing games with the kids to helping at the school. "On top of a concert in the library for 5th grade, we hung out and played UNO with some pretty amazing kids, helped in classrooms, stocked the paper room, hauled Christmas decorations out of the attic, and helped organize the selves in the library. It was a good day. We hope everyone had an amazing break!" said the band's Instagram page.
