Since 2016 music platforms have created yearly “wrap-ups” with users data. Spotify was the first platform to do so with their “Spotify Wrapped” and Apple Music following with “Replay”. From January 1 to November 15 the apps collect customers data and release a compilation in December.
Over the years, the release has grown to be an event users look forward to, especially for the students at SVHS. Students shared their results in class and on social media. It’s something that everyone has in common, so it’s easy and fun to talk about. “Spotify isn’t just music—it’s the soundtrack to the grind, the energy that powers every step, every rep, every win,” said junior Porter Ludwig.
