Here in star valley highschool Traveling from one classroom to another is very much like traveling from city to another. The time it takes to go from one city to the next city depends largely on the distance between the cities and the flow of traffic. During rush hour your travel is much slower than if you are to travel when the streets are dead. Here at Star Valley High School some classrooms are much closer to each other than other classrooms. The time students are allotted to go from one class to another does not take into account the distance between rooms. Currently I and several other students have to choir right after seminary. If we are late to choir we get marked tardy and get assigned detention taking away our lunch hour. Let me draw you a visual. When we get out of seminary the daily track meet begins as those students that have been signed up for the 500 yard dash begin their race. Not a race through empty halls without obstacles in our way but a race through the school maze like cars on a freeway during rush hour traffic. On days we are able to make it we start choir out of breath and smelling like we forgot to shower, but we still get to eat our lunch. On days that we run into an obstacle that prevents us from making this near impossible track we get to go without food. Yes they say that you can get your lunch before you go to detention but have you seen the lines at lunch time. Another race that isn’t easy to beat. And the rest of the day you are running on empty, sorta like driving a car without fuel. So be careful when making your schedule.
