Taggart Ivie wrote a second person narrative on the hardships of moving on. “Though the face of death is cold, it is the most immaculate thing in this dark void. I’d rather sleep eternally than consciously live in the dark,” wrote Taggart.
Lily Keith wrote a fantasy story about a land where fairies, elves, shapeshifters, dwarves, and many more creatures live in peace from the outside world until the day a neighboring kingdom comes in and tries to convince them to join them and conquer the land of Mheán. The fairies refuse. “Once Rardan’s army collided into the Sióga’s was when the battle truly started. The Elves were firing two or three arrows at a time taking several soldiers down in the process. The Griffins had the Dwarves in their claws and the Leathlings on their backs firing arrows and toxic darts at those bold enough to shoot at them. The Shapeshifters shifted into their fearsome forms of bears, leopards, panthers, lions, and so many more.”
Emma Wolfley’s story is about a teenage girl who lost everything she loves, so now it’s up to her to protect her siblings from a dangerous enemy, and when she thought she was alone, she never thought she would find someone that knows her better then she knows herself. And now when the murderer who killed her loved ones is still on the lose, the only person she can trust is the man she loves before this murderer takes everything away from her. “When he said his vows, it made my heart pick up pace even more as I held his hands in mine, looking into those deep blue eyes. ‘Ella, I will always be with you, no matter what, I will never stop loving you, ou are my Desert Flower.’ He whispered, holding my gaze. I started to cry and jumped into his arms. I looked deeper into his eyes knowing he was the one. I put my lips against his. He pulled me closer to him. I had found my Prince charming at last.”
Jaden Edward’s story is about ten kingdoms split down the middle between the races of Elves and Dwarves, each holding a blade made by their ancestors. Two young Dwarves and two young Elves learn that they are part of an ancient prophecy to reunite the lands or witness their world burn into a distant memory. “You thought I was a fool, but know I shall show you all.”
Symi Hepworth’s story is about a teenage girl named Alex Barlowe. She’s never been popular or noticed. Ever. Until one lucky day a cute boy, Keigan Hendrix, shows up at her school and out of the blue becomes her one and only true friend. As Lexi gets to know this boy, she finds that she is falling for him more and more. However, there’s one secret Keigan’s keeping from her: he’s the son of famous singers and Keigan can’t tell her, not when she’s the first person who hasn’t treated him like royalty. But just maybe one day he could tell her his feelings, and maybe there’s a future for them. “Even on the darkest night, her moonlight would never leave me.”
