After recent storms, the Sacajawea and Colter lifts are turning once–quiet runs into open access across Peaked Mountain. “There’s nothing better than that first ride up with perfect snow beneath you and blue sky ahead,” said senior Kellan Stout.

The musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" comes to the SVHS stage in March. Preparations for SVHS's spring musical began many months before. Director, Tami Neilson says, "I've been working all summer and fall on choreography, costuming and set ideas."

The sophomore hall reflects the Christmas creativity of the sophomore class. They won the recent hall decorating contest with their gingerbread theme. Mr. Burton, whose class resides in this halls, said, "It was freaking dope. I loved how they made the gates when you walk into the math hall."

Last year’s All-State singers and musicians show the incredible energy and focus resulting from months of hard work that finally showed up on the biggest stage. Today, that same drive continues to push Star Valley’s musicians to reach higher notes and tougher goals. “You have to put in a lot of work and be really prepared," said Cloe Jack.

Senior Cooper Lancaster drives the ball to the basket during a heated matchup against Mountain Crest, attacking the defense with confidence and control. What fans may not know is that Lancaster is averaging 23 points per game this season, making him one of the Braves’ top scoring threats. “I think that because of our schedule that we have played so far this season, it is going to allow us to play at a higher level than our opponents. If we play together we will finish strong,” Lancaster said.

Brooke Schwab said, “What actually motivated me to go out and win was the trophy that they give out when you win the tournament! Last year I got 3rd. And this year, I knew I had a real shot at winning. I knew that if I just wrestled patiently and aggressively, I could take the title for my own. Even when I was in the finals match, I told myself that I wanted that trophy, and it gave me the motivation to pin my opponent and win the match!”
