Where is paradise for you? Over 800,00 people consider their paradise on earth Hawaii! More and more students are getting to spend their summers, spring break, or any time in between in Hawaii.

Senior Kamryn Thompson recently had the opportunity to go to the Big Island as well as Oahu. “My favorite thing to eat there was anything pineapple or tacos,” said Thompson.  The dole plantation is on Oahu and tourists can see how pineapples are grown and try their famous dole pineapple whip.

Other than eating, there are many activities to do on all the islands of Hawaii like snorkeling, surfing, sunsets cruises, sightseeing from helicopters, and swimming with sea life! “My favorite thing is to go snorkeling,” said Junior Jacob Hodges.

Visitors can also attend traditional Luaus which involves eating local food, learning to make leis, watching fire dancing, and hula dancing! “The best part of the trip was being able to paddle board with sea turtles in freshwater rivers,” said Junior Maddie Hale.

Hawaii is an amazing place to visit, and one way or another visitors always see a rainbow there!
