FFA Holds Silent Auction Fundraiser

TRAVEL SQUAD: Last year’s FFA members get ready to hit the road, something this years members have not been able to do because of covid.

Although covid has taken a lot from students and their extra-curricular activities this year, FFA still needed to raise money to help pay for the group’s expenses.

FFA recently held a silent auction on Facebook to raise funds for their organization, selling items donated by local businesses and made by the members. “My mom made an Oreo-chocolate bunt cake and caramel apple tie bars for the auction. I only ate one of each,” said junior Irrissa Guyett.

Mr. Warren, who will retire after this year after thirty years as the head of the FFA, has helped many kids become active members of the organization.
