Soccer has never been seen as a premier sport at SVHS. Many Soccer athletes come and go through the high school, playing four years and that’s all. However, as the teams progress and get better, many colleges have started looking more and more to recruit players out of Star Valley.

Former Star Valley Soccer Superstar, Noah Hutchinson, returned to the school on April 8th for some important business. Hutchinson met with a recruiter from Central Wyoming College to sign a letter of intent to play for the Thunderbirds. Hutchinson said,“ I’m so excited to play more soccer and do what I love for a couple more years.” Hutchinson received a scholarship from the college that covers housing and more. After an amazing 4 years of high school soccer for the Braves and a stay in the Philippines, Noah “Clutchinson” Hutchinson will continue to ball up in Riverton.

Not only will Lozano attend the same college as Hutchinson, but he will also live with him. These two played together for 2 years and formed quite a dynamic duo. Every time these two stepped on the field, it got crazy and madness ensued. Teams feared the two together in high school, and fans will now get to see them on the college stage.
