The SVHS Treble Tones earned themselves some serious bragging rights on Saturday, May 5. The group took part of a competition called Music in the Parks held in Layton, Utah at Lagoon.

The group won best women’s choir and the grand prize of best overall choir. There were several other choirs from Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Utah there. The choir prepared for the event by practicing all year and performing here at SVHS in various shows.

The girls scored 97 points out of the 100 possible. Their last home performances took place in the auditorium this last week on Tuesday the 8th and Wednesday the 9th of May.

This talented group of girls have made their way into Treble by of talent and/or other choirs.  They have worked incredibly hard to be able to preform in the best of their ability and this showed in Utah. If you would like to be a part of this group go contact the counselors or the Chior Director Kari Allred and get ready to try out because she doesn’t let just anybody in!
