Don’t hate us, but over the Thanksgiving break Cosmo and I returned to the Mother Country, England. Why? We went to break away from the norm of the valley and did we ever! See the attached slide show for some of the sights we took in.

On the first/ second day we arrived in London at about 10:30 in the am which was about three in the morning at home. We visited most of the the regular tourist sites there such as Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey Cathedral, and Buckingham palace.

On the third day we went to a place called Eton where we went to visit my friend that goes to school there. Fun fact: The lunch room there is the where the Harry Potter films filmed the Hogwart’s banquet hall. From Eton we went to the Queen’s secondary castle, Windsor, Her Majesty’s get away place for vacation in the country.

We got out of town on the fourth day and traveled all the way over to the mysterious and famous Stonehenge. These blocks of stones are massive, way bigger than the seem in the movies. We spent that night looking out over to the famed white cliffs of Dover.

We spent our fourth night in Dover and started our fifth day traveling out to the boonies to find this castle in Bodiam. It was built in the late 1200’s and survived two civil wars and countless family feuds to now stand as a monument of independence for that little town.

We traveled home on our sixth day, staying awake for 21 hours on the trip due to time changes and watching movies on the planes. That concluded the legend of the Coon and Randy in London.
