Many students enjoy hunting, but a select few take hunting to the next level with the challenge of bow hunting. Bow hunting allows hunters to get up close and personal with the animals that they hunt. Everything comes into play when bow hunting, including wind, range, and scent. Bow hunting is the ultimate challenge and few hunters have success with it. These students successfully took on the bow hunting challenge and this fall.

What animal did you kill with your Bow? What Kind of bow do you have? What do You like most about bowhunting?

Mason Erickson:

I killed a 5×5 bull elk with my bow this year.

My bow is a PSE.

What I like most about Bowhunting is the close encounters that you get with the animals.

Kambel Jenkins:

I Killed a 5×5 bull elk at 30 yards.

Hoyt Carbon Defiant.

What I like most about bowhunting is how close you have to get to the animals. Rifle is fun because you can shoot from along ways away, but when you get close to them, its a different experience.

Mr. Balls:

I killed a Mule Deer with my bow.

Bear Crux compound

What I like most about bowhunting is being alone in the mountains and not having to deal with other people. Another nice thing is getting close to the animals.
